Socio-emotional education

Social-emotional education is a key part of integral education.

We focus on the socioemotional development of each child, promoting self-confidence, self-regulation, self-knowledge and healthy relationships based on empathy and collaboration. We encourage the recognition of their rights and their active participation to build a more just world. We celebrate all achievements, small and large, and highlight the strengths of each student to enhance their self-esteem and maximum potential.

Our curriculum, aligned with the values of Finnish education, values both academic achievement and cross-cutting skills. We use innovative tools to recognize and record strengths, motivating progress and fostering a supportive environment that facilitates each student’s success.

Academic excellence

We strive for high academic standards to prepare our students to compete globally.

We have a solid structure in our pedagogical processes that allows us to work efficiently and generate high learning standards for our students through our subjects and projects, as well as international certifications that give them the opportunity to access higher studies nationally and internationally, including universities in Europe and North America. We are associated with the British Consulate as a Cambridge International School, so we prepare our students for the IGCSE exams, which provides them with international academic standards. In addition, they obtain certifications in English such as PET and FCE/CAE, reaching an advanced level at the end of their schooling to meet the demands of the globalized world.

Significant learning

We design projects that address real and relevant problems to generate motivating experiences and challenges that are solved through collaborative work and creativity. Our projects are the result of a structured and creative planning process between teachers of different subjects. We recognize the importance of a balance in disciplinary learning to establish a solid base and build on it interdisciplinary knowledge, taking into account the skills to be developed, as well as the interests and knowledge of students, so as to make them active participants in the process.

We integrate trades (carpentry, textiles, agriculture, ceramics, among others) and experiences outside the classroom to generate meaningful experiences that open spaces for reflection, debate and uncover creativity. Our students learn to search, analyze and process information, becoming critical thinkers and making responsible use of technology.

We foster a supportive and trusting environment in the classroom, where students feel free to experiment, learn from mistakes and express their doubts, thus feeling listened to and valued. We have tutoring spaces to address common concerns and issues. We accompany each student in their process of self-discovery, encouraging them to explore their strengths and talents in collaboration with others.

In addition, we have a student support area, to ensure a personalized intervention, designed according to the needs of each individual, consistent with our methodology based on neuroscience and the importance of relationships for development. This team works as a bridge between teachers, families and students, promoting an environment that respects the pace of learning and strengthens confidence to face new challenges.

Our teachers receive an ongoing professional development program that includes training in pedagogical and socio-emotional topics, as well as classroom observations with permanent feedback.We also work with digital platforms from Finland to strengthen teaching competencies, researching, reflecting and evaluating our pedagogical practices to generate new learning. Preparing our students for the future with a STEAM approach

A focus on 21st century skills will enable our students to be able to succeed in an ever-changing world. In a world where they will be increasingly important. It is estimated that 90% of the jobs of the future will require STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) skills. In this sense, we have partnered with the best Finnish programs to foster curiosity for science, mathematics, design and architecture from early childhood.

English immersion

From the initial stage, 85% of our classes are conducted in english.

Early immersion not only favors the natural acquisition of language skills, but also benefits brain development at this early stage, improving executive functions. We offer support programs designed to maximize each student’s potential in a fully immersive environment. In addition, we have integrated interactive digital tools that enrich the English learning experience, complementing and reinforcing classroom work.
